LPA member and Charter Commission Chairman Jim Dunlap has decided not to apply for Jim Atterholt’s open seat on the Fort Myers Beach Town Council. Dunlap and Tom Brady spoke at public comment Monday to voice their interest in the seat. [read more]
 

Idyll Construction is planning two new modular home "sets" next Tuesday and Thursday. A “set” is when a trailer delivers the home, a crane lifts it off the trailer, and Idly employees set it into place. [read more]
 

The Lee County Department of Transportation now says the overnight Big Carlos Pass Bridge closure will take place next week, not this week. The new bridge is on the south end of Fort Myers Beach. [read more]
