When town staff considers whether to recommend approval or denial to the LPA and Town Council they have no idea how to apply public benefit the developer may be offering in their recommendation. Public benefit is very subjective and the town has yet to clearly define what public benefits they want. [read more]
 

After it was clear the owners of The Pink Shell properties were not getting support for a new 8-story, 109 unit building with a 4-story parking garage last Summer, they’ve come back with a smaller proposal. The LPA will consider that new proposal Monday. [read more]
 

It’s been over a year since Continental Hospitality Group unveiled plans for their new resort at 2316/2320 Estero Boulevard. The old Neptune has not been cleaned up or demolished since Hurricane Ian over two years ago. [read more]
