The Fort Myers Beach Fire Control District will break ground on its new fire station at 2545 Estero Boulevard one week from today. Shovels hit the dirt at 10AM on the old Topps Supermarket property. The Town of Fort Myers Beach is reminding residents that dumping debris, not at a legal drop-off site, is illegal. The Town has mobilized Crowder Gulf, and FEMA monitor, Tetra Tech for Milton debris pickup. They will collect four types of storm debris that need to be in separate piles. [read more]
