The new south end $90.8 million bridge project began in Summer 2023. Two years later it’s ready to open for traffic. Crews will begin to shift traffic to the new bridge at 11 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, through 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14. [read more]
 

The Lee County beach tram will start running again on Thursday, November 20th. The free tram runs about every 30-40 minutes, seven days a week from Fort Myers Beach Public Library to Bowditch Point Park. [read more]
 

Terry Persaud has unveiled his Times Square Sunset Grill Building. Persaud lost his restaurant in Hurricane Ian. He’s been operating his public parking lot since the storm and has presented several plans to rebuild. [read more]
