Will McKannay was the unanimous Town Council choice to replace the departing Andy Hyatt as Fort Myers Beach Town Manager back on April 18th. Last week he agreed to contract terms and on Monday the Town Council will vote on the new contract. [read more]
 

It’s going to be extremely hard for the Fort Myers Beach Town Council to ignore the LPA’s recommendation to deny Terry Persaud’s 50-unit 5-story hotel in Times Square. The denial was unanimous, emphatic and unambiguous. [read more]
 

The Freeland Group will go before the Fort Myers Beach Town council Monday for their first of 2 public hearings to present their plan to completely remake 5 acres of property they own under the Matanzas Pass Bridge. [read more]
 

On Thursday, the Lee County Attorney's office officially denied a request made by Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel to use Tourist Development Council funds to help pay for 4th of July Fireworks. [read more]
