That's the hope as Salty Crab owner Greg Powers is set to bring his new building plans to the LPA Tuesday. If everything goes smoothly with approvals and permitting, Powers would like to break ground later this year and have the popular beach restaurant back open in the Fall of 2026.   [read more]
 

On Thursday the town of Fort Myers Beach announced it was moving to a new short-term rental software. The new software will help town staff monitor short-term rentals and identify renters not following the rules.  [read more]
